Jeru the Damaja is a seriously talented lyricist. That said, his second album Wrath of the Math is a hidden gem, riddled with metaphorical quirks, slant rhymes, and esoteric samples. So here are two of my favorites off of the album, Scientifical Madness and Me or the Papes. In both tracks Jeru takes on the role of a cynicist and a narrator, dealing his raps out with an ice cold tone. Gotta give props to Gins for introducing me to this hip-hop wizard. Check him out.
