Sho’ Improve- Giant Panda

Giant Panda is an underground Hip-Hop group from southern California with some serious talent. This track Sho’ Improve, Off the album Fly School Reunion, has a twangy sample and some straight cut rhymes. With Thes One as part of the production, these guys are top notch. On this track the producer, Chikaramanga, raps hard and its pretty funny. Give it a listen to check the tech.

Smile Back-Mac Miller

So Mac dropped this last night via twitter, had it been a weeknight i would have posted it right away, but it was a friday night so… Anyway Mac Miller has been steadily keeping the ¬†buzz going for the release of his new album Blue Slide Park. In this song producer Big Jerm throws a nice guitar sample over a bumping party bassline and Mac shows hes not slowing down anytime soon.

Below The Heavens-Blu & Exile

This album is from 2007, but i just discovered it and I had to share it because its that good. Exile’s production is perfect for Blu’s rapping, in addition the sampling and turntablism is some of the best i have heard in a long time. Critically acclaimed and widely accepted as an underground rap classic and I definitely agree with those statements. I’m going to feature one of my favorite tracks Blu Colla Worker. Blu’s lyricism shines as he raps about the troubles of being an up and coming star. I highly recommend you download the whole album.

Willie Dynamite-Mac Miller

Mac Miller dropped this just an hour ago to celebrate reaching 90o thousand followers on twitter. Over a tight sample and a jazzy syncopated beat Mac shows his lyrical muscle. Remember Blue Slide Park drops November 8, 2011.

On Dope-Rime Force Most Illin’

Rime Force Most Illin’ is the collaboration between Rob Rush, Luke Sick and DJ Quest. I don’t know much about these guys other than apparently they’re collabing for a project coming soon. If thats true it will be a sick mixtape, album whatever. This song has catchy, upbeat production and some great scratching. Coupled with playful, light hearted lyricism you;ll have a hard time getting this track out of your head. Download. Enjoy. Repeat.
